Safety Inspection
Ensuring that your electrical installations conform to current IEE regulations is no longer a luxury – it is critical and a mandatory legal requirement to make sure that all your electrical installations are periodically checked and tested and that you have the appropriate certification.
Failure to do so could make you liable for any injury caused by a fault that occurs due to a poor electrical installation.
Safety Inspections involve carrying out periodic testing of all commercial and industrial installations and checking their electrics as defined by the NICEIC. Once checked, the appropriate certification is issued which reports on the state of the mains installation in the building.
The checks include for wear and tear, advice on a bad installation, any damage to an installation and an out-of-date installation. The current IEE regulations are the 17th Edition.
It is important for regular safety compliance to be carried out to adhere to Health and Safety regulations and to keep your insurance valid.
